Drought & Natural Disaster Resilience
Resources Hub

The Farm Business Resilience Program (FBRP) is an extension program jointly funded through the Federal Government’s Future Drought Fund and the Queensland Government’s Drought and Climate Adaptation Program.

The FBRP provides primary producers in Queensland with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to prepare for and effectively manage climate and business risks. Improving your farms long-term business resilience helps you absorb and recover from challenges that have a negative impact on production and financial returns.

A key part of the FBRP is the development of a Farm Business Resilience Plan. Your plan helps you identify, assess and manage business risks and identifies strategies and actions on how to address them. You will need a Farm Business Resilience Plan or similar to apply for the drought assistance grants and loans available through the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA).
